ISARI Is Our Belizean Heritage
ISARI didn't begin with a development plan. It began with one man's love for his home country and a vision for what could be created there.
Where the ISARI Story Began
Belizean-born Carl McCoy grew up in the village of Roaring Creek in Stann Creek, surrounded by the natural beauty of Belize.
During a visit to Miami Beach in the 1960s, Carl saw how hotels, entertainment, and hospitality had transformed another beautiful coastal destination. It sparked an idea.
What if something special could be created in Belize while celebrating the beauty that made the country extraordinary in the first place?
That idea stayed with him.
In the 1970s, Carl purchased the 100-acre Newtown peninsula and began pursuing his dream of creating a retreat in his home country.
A Vision Worth Continuing.
Carl passed away before seeing his dream fully realized.
But the vision didn't disappear with him.
His family carried it forward.
Today, ISARI Belize represents the continuation of that original dream—a family-led effort to create a place that celebrates Belize's natural surroundings while opening the door for others to experience a deeper connection to the country.
ISARI is not simply about developing land.
It's about finishing a story that started generations ago—and beginning new ones along the way.
Rooted in Belize.
Designed for What's Next.
